Thanks for the advice on the probable causes of the failure. I did stop when the oil pressure began to drop and I checked the level of the oil, but it indicated that the oil level was full. I am new to the Z world and didn't know much about the car. I flew to Sacramento to purchase the vehicle and was on my way back to Alabama when all this happened. I gave the individual 10K and now i'm going to be into this car for about 16K and I haven't even gotten the vehicle back to Alabama. It's stuck in Albuquerque NM, where the engine has to be rebuilt! I drove at 80 miles an hour for 16hrs trying to get home. do you have any advice for a good rebuild?
